Amsterdam

Well . . . I got here. I barely slept on the flight but I am here none the less. Amsterdam has been a good time thus far. I feel as though I have had a pretty good Dutch experience. I have done a lot of bike riding, tasted some good Dutch waffles (dont read too much into this), and seen some wooden shoes being made. The first two days have started with site sighting and ended with some very late nights. All in all we have been having a good time. My friend Laurence has done a lot of traveling for work so we are using his Marriot points to stay in a nice Marriot right near the Rjiks Museum. The clean room and soft beds have definitely helped cushion the blow of Amsterdam's many convienyant vices.

Here I am on my sweet ride through town. A bike really was the ideal way to go. I could get across town in 15-20 minutes.

I was able to find a pair wooden shoes in my size after all. I think they'd be good for volleyball.

Your quality hiking backpack better not be my Jansport.
