Just on Monday, I was evicted from my house share by my landlord. I had been staying there since mid March. It was a beautiful house and I enjoyed staying there, its only downfall was my landlord.

My landlord was a forty year old man living in the house with me and a college student. He was a nice guy but a bit of a ninny and a bit too nit picky for Doug. He was very accusatory and too militant about his house rules. He would accost me about the most mundane stuff. Personally, after a long day at work, I dont want to come home and be lectured for leaving a bathroom light on. He had a very poor way of dealing with people.

After two and a half months our relationship slowly degenerated into arguing and my trying to avoid being in the same room as him. Then one day we arguing about some speck of rice he found on the floor or something; he asked for me to leave and I accepted.

My leaving has been more of a relief then a problem. I moved in with some folks I met through a common friend. I expect to be here for my last month in Fremantle. They are actually going to be giving me a ride when I head North out of here on the 5th of July. This house is just as nice as the old one, but it is filled with friendly people who love to cook and has a real good vibe to it. I look forward to the next few weeks . . . . . . but Im still ready to hit the road again.
