Well back to reality I see. I did a similar thing when me and my wife were first married. We spent 8 months at an indian reservation to help out a church there up in North Dakota. It wasn't half way around the world but my wife talks about it now like it was. You are right I will never forget that awesome experience 15 years ago. I wanted to go back but reality hits in and my wife would have hit also if I even pushed the idea. However, maybe for you, you could hook up with some organization in cambodia or a mission in zimbabwa. OR maybe not. I would like to here more of your adventure. Could you post some on our social network at heywhatever.info. My friends there would love to here some of your stories.
Hello family and friends, and welcome to my site. The plan right now is to travel for a year starting July 6th. The first month I will be with my friend Lawrence and the rest I'll be on my own.
We are going to start with Amsterdam then head to Russia, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Greece, and end in Thailand. Lawrence will head back to the States on August 8th, a week after we land in Bangkok, and then my solo travel begins. . . . . .
The reason for the site was to share my adventures (make you all as jealous as possible) and put everyone's mind at ease that I am still breathing. So if you are reading this, hopefully I am sitting on a beach somewhere in my speedo drinking a mojito and not crying myself to sleep in some Thai dude's homemade dungeon.
